Veronika #53 shined at Armoy!
At the turn of July and August, Veronika went to Northern Ireland, for the Junior Support and Supertwin category races.
She had a borrowed Barry Graham motorcycle at her disposal thanks to Jonni Hoy's support. She could only get on the plane and bring her equipment. But there was a bit of a problem right at the start, because the airport control did not recognize the airbag system in the PSí Hubík suit! Fortunately, everything went well, Veronika made it to the plane and, together with another team member Jana Kolacá, could enjoy real Irish road racing again after a long break!
The qualifications for all classes are quite modest, only five laps and only one qualifying, i.e. one attempt.
Veronica managed to finish 10th in the Junior Support category and 16th in the Supertwin category on the starting grid on her Aprilia RS 660. The next day she started her first race and although she was probably the most surprised of all, she managed to finish in a beautiful third place after starting from tenth place and enjoy the podium after a long time!
She couldn't have gotten a better motivation before the Manx Grand Prix, so now it's off to the island of dreams, the Isle of Man!
