Season 2024 and plans for the next one from KIKI #48

The 2024 season was my sixth racing season. After years of struggling with rookie problems and after Covid, it was the first truly full-fledged season. And also the best one so far.

Thanks to Petr Urik from Buldok, I got the chance to ride the new Kawasaki ZX4RR this season and participated in all the races of both our federations (AČR, CAMS). The bike was new to all of us - we were looking for the right settings, solving the chassis, gears, but Peťa Najman set it up great and thanks to that it ran really reliably in every race.

I rode a new little bike on every track, which was an average improvement of 6 seconds per lap on every track! Of course, Hořice made me the happiest, where I rode in tenth place despite practically no training laps. And of course Dymokury - MY FIRST PODIUM! I held the fastest time in the qualifications for a long time and then held the third fastest 400SSP time ever in the race.

I also tried the Supersport 600 class. I was surprised how quickly we got on. I set good times in Brno and Most. The IRRC in Frohburg didn't go as planned, but no one will take away my experience from the European Championship and I will come back stronger and faster.

Although not all the races went as planned - I was still fighting for the vice-champion title until the last race - it was a fantastic season. I finished it in 4th place in the unofficial WUSA RoadRacing Cup, 6th place overall in the ACR and also 6th place in CAMS. With a record participation of more than 30 riders, it's a great result and I'm really proud of our whole team. Special thanks to my mechanics Kája and Eliška from ISŠA, who dedicated their free time to accompany me and help me throughout the season.

I think it's appropriate to show a little sentiment and mention how amazing the work we did as a whole team. Verča invited me to the WWRT project in 2022, since then we have all had to overcome many difficult situations, but we have managed them all and emerged from them as a strong team.

Each of us is fighting on several fronts, but the love for this sport has always led us to great results - Verča opened the door to the world for me and shared opportunities with our partners and sponsors. Lenička and her incredible enthusiasm keep the whole team together all the time. Anička, who is the fastest of us and always lends a hand. Simča, Renča, Denča, Lenka, Janča - they are all here for us and help us in their free time, with their own money. Girls, thank you! You are amazing, you are Wonder and I thank you very much for everything you do for us.

And what about 2025?

Well, as always, it's about money and opportunities. The entire 400SSP championship in the Czech Republic/Slovakia is on my calendar again. The ambition is to finally win the title and stand on the podium of our home championship. But the 400SSP has caught a second wind, thanks to which I will also look at other European events of the ZX4 Cup, as well as Alpe Adria.

The end of the year will then present a great challenge for me in the form of the Suzuki Series NZ. If I manage to collect sufficient funds, I will fly the Czech flag to New Zealand.

I will direct my efforts so that I can get to the IRRC next year (2026) and also to the legendary Isle of Man at the MANX GP! And at the same time expand my "portfolio" with a 600.
